This does have normal plates, but I imagine it must’ve come here with a diplomat and then been sold later.

Does Canada allow that? I know it would be illegal in the US. I’m curious if it is actually registered as a Yeti (or a Skoda for that matter).

Well it’s an early Yeti (pre-face lift) but even then the earliest it could be is a 2009.
It’s a good car, just hope it doesn’t end up in a crusher.

It’s been spotted a few times around van on VISIT, and I think on here by CarsofFortLangley. From what I’ve gathered, it’s owned by a diplomat, and they can import whatever they want.

It’s a diplomats car as far as I know, they’re allowed to import stuff newer than 15 years
